These infomercials can be very convincing and everyone wants to know the "secrets" to real estate investing.  After seeing these television infomercials time and again, you may be tempted to buy their real estate course.  If you insist on satisfying your curiosity, you could buy the real estate course by calling the phone number on the television infomercial.  Many people are enthusiastic when they are placing the order and become disillusioned when they read the materials and see the work involved.  This can represent an opportunity for you to save money by buying the same real estate course on eBay at a discounted price.  You could review the real estate course, if it turns out not to be everything you had hoped, you can always sell it on eBay.  You might sell it at a small loss, but that would only be a small fraction of the infomercial price.  If you are a shrewd eBay buyer and seller, you might actually make a small profit. 

I think this is a great way to save some of your hard earned money, but it does just work with television advertised real estate courses.  I think it is a great option for anything that has resale value after you use it and shipping is a small part of the total cost.
